My Journey from Journalist to Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Publicist
Music has always been my passion, my driving force, and my purpose. Before I became a hard rock and heavy metal publicist, I started my career as a music journalist for Rock N Roll Industries Magazine. Through that experience, I had the incredible opportunity to meet and interview countless bands, getting a firsthand look at what they needed most—exposure, advocacy, and someone willing to break down barriers on their behalf.
I realized then that many bands needed a cheerleader, a relentless advocate who would push their music in front of the right audiences, secure media coverage, and make sure their voices were heard in an industry that can often be unforgiving. While I had already built a career in entertainment, fashion, and lifestyle PR, my heart was always in metal. I knew I had to shift gears and dedicate myself fully to the genre that fuels my soul.
With determination and a deep love for hard rock and heavy metal, I carved out my path as a publicist in this niche space. It’s a journey that requires resilience, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am here to help the bands I believe in get the recognition they deserve.
Rootbrain: The Future of Alternative Metal
One of the bands I’m championing right now is Rootbrain, a Finnish-German alternative metal force blending elements of blackened grunge, groove, and doom-infused melodies. Featuring members of Triptykon, Profane Omen, and Kuolemanlaakso, Rootbrain is making waves in the scene, solidifying their presence with their latest EP Mothertomb, set for release on March 5th via Corpsepaint Records.
Their latest single, “Unawares,” is a stunning showcase of their signature fusion—brooding melodies, crushing riffs, and dynamic intensity. Following their electrifying cover of Garbage’s #1 Crush, Unawares dives deeper into the band’s raw emotion and precision musicianship.
